Corn and Mexico are one. The agricultural history of Mexico has provided the territory with countless constructions as vestiges of a predominant agriculture over the centuries. One of these remains is the silos of Conasupo. Their conical shape makes them unique and recognizable in the landscape of Mexican corn territory.
These buildings are now an opportunity, they will be reused and adapted to host the new program. This prototype will serve as a model for a network of corn schools that can spread throughout Mexico.
Conos de maíz is an educational project that integrates a semester in a productive cycle of corn to train the man who returns to the field. It will be a school for the future, rooted and identified with the land and corn that was the origin of the Mexican people.
